Whether it is Prince, the artist formerly known as Prince, or the
artist formerly known as Prince now known as Prince, it is hard to refute the
impact this artist has played on the music scene. Emerging in the early
80’s as one of the most singular talents of the rock & roll era, on
August 22nd, Warner Brothers Records will release ‘Ultimate Prince,’ a
two-disc compilation featuring his biggest hits (from Grammy-winning
singles “Kiss” and “Purple Rain” to pop hits “When Doves Cry” and
“Let’s Go Crazy”) and hard to find remixes (”Cream,” “Little Red Corvette” and
“Pop Life.”) In addition to this two-disc release, ‘Diamonds and
Pearls,’ a DVD collection of videos, performances and more will also be
released, fully capturing the rich careeer Prince has led.
